Special Weapon[]

Nina Loco's Special Weapon was the Lemming Missile, three giant missiles placed on a stand in her trunk that home in on enemy targets for low damage per missile. It ignores the vehicle's avoidance target, and aims to hit the vehicle itself directly. Each missile also scrambles radar displays and draws attention from all currently active homing weapons for as long as it is in the air; when it is about to hit, the decoy target is moved from the missile and placed directly onto the enemy's vehicle. In addition, it also ignores decoys. The missiles work like mortar projectiles, and don't home in on enemies that are far above the user when they are launched (unless the target is far enough horizontally. The El Guerrero and weapon being tilted or flipped, as well as being moved upwards or downwards as the missiles are fired can also have an affect on the missile's ability to lock on to the target). However, they can go through structures, though they will also go through vehicles, and will only explode upon contact with the terrain.

Trivia[]

  • In specifically the Nintendo 64 version of Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense, there is a green pillar that appears apart of the Lemming Missile explosion, something that doesn't appear visible in the other versions.
