The
Mosquito Machine Guns are small machine guns equipped on every vehicle by default. Though they are the weakest weapons in the game, they have unlimited ammunition. This way, all the vehicles are left with a defense if no other weapons are present. As the machine gun is continuously fired, it starts to go slower and slower as it overheats, though it never completely overheats. This means it will continue to fire until the player ceases to continue holding the fire button. The button used to fire the Machine Gun is also the button needed to perform Combos with other Weapons.

- In Vigilante 8, the Mosquito Machine Gun was visible on every character's vehicle, but in Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense, they are usually located inside the vehicle's front bumper, out of view. In Vigilante 8: Arcade, the machine guns are visible again.
