Canyonlands, as shown in Vigilante 8.
Canyonlands is a playable stage set in a fictional location of Utah in the original Vigilante 8. The location seems to be a deserted tribal area full of forgotten stone structures and artifacts. Such structures within the stage include bridges, a collection of land marks found in a certain part of the stage, mountainous cliffs, gas stations and markets, complete with hotel and bar, and a trailer park. Hazards within the stage include falling boulders, which cuts the player's overall health when collided with.
Secrets[]
- When placed in the middle of certain land marks, a collection of shining lights will let itself be seen. Upon contact, the player will be transported to an isolated part of the stage with a Special Weapon Crate. The player can even hear a ritual chant while being transported.
Trivia[]
- Though not officially confirmed, one can assume that the Meteor Crater stage in Vigilante 8: Arcade could be the result of the combination of the Meteor Crater stage in Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense and the Canyonlands stage.
